Emma Advances - By Room 1
Emma Twigg, serial Olympian, advanced to the semi finals with a convincing win in the Quarter finals last Sunday in Tokyo.
This is Emma’s fourth Olympics and her fourth time advancing to the Semi finals. In Rio she placed fourth by less than a second and she has returned reinvigorated by the culture in the NZ team and she says ‘it’s an honour wearing the Silver Fern’. She also has had expert coaching tips from her nephew who said she needs to train harder. After this advice she pushed herself to row over 26km daily which she told him from Tokyo.
She is a single sculler and has been a world champion in the last 10 years.
Emma Twigg said these words that shows her strength throughout the world with one sentence,“You Want To Be That Person, And My Body Is Able Too” Emma is a truly strong lady that is able to practice every morning, she once put the oars down, But then she grabbed advice from too inspiring people which made her get back into rowing and hopefully will turn as an Olympian Medallist Representing New Zealand, As She Placed First, Will She Carry On?

Every Friday we go for winter sports in Ur sport, and go challenge ourselves. Today We Vs'd Bank Avenue & South New Brighton, Bank Avenue won six and we won seven! Bank Avenue had really good players as well as South New Brighton! We also won the other match against South New Brighton,Today Scarlett & Lily-Rose Got Player Of The Day, I Think They Deserved It As They Went Up And Tried Their Very Best!

This week we have been learning about repeat addition, Repeat addition is when you times maths by doubling it!, That is exactly what my group in maths have been learning!. We have been learning too times, addition maths!, Throughout The last few weeks I have became way better at maths and maths is very easy for me now!, A quicker way to figure out addition!, if it is 4+4!? A quicker way is 4x2! And straight away you know that equals 8! Anyways Yesterday We had to finish a lot of times tables!, I took a screenshot and ill explain a quicker way to solve these answers!

This Week We Have Been Learning Too Times Tables, Today I Had To Figure Out What 2x12 Is! When I First Started My Times Tables They Were Tricky But Now They Are Super Easy! I Found This Out Very Easily And Quick!,:) What Maths Did You Do Today!? When You Do Your Maths What Helps You Learn!? Now If We Know That 10+10=20!, And 2+2=4!, Then Add That Together! 20+4=24 So That´s The Answer To 12x2! Its A Quicker Way To Solve It In Your Head!, :)

This week we have been learning about adding!, Me and my group had to do a maths task!, On google slides! We had to find out which of these numbers made the same correction as each other!, I picked the correct one's! I'm here to share them with you!, This Was a easy task because I was able to get up to day six on day two! :) I recommend next time the problems are harder!
