The Amazing Duffy Book!

 W.A.L.T: Be grateful with things we receive!

Today we had a Duffy Assembly, I was so excited knowing that I will be able to read more fun, awesome books thanks to Avon head rotary, Mainfreight, Government books and Duffy! 

Me and my school are so grateful with our books we can read I really love mine it is about a raccoon,donuts, and cookies there is so much more to the book but that's the most interesting parts! 

I  thank the author of my book Jessie Janowitz! You put a lot of effort into this boom I really love it! and again Duffy for giving my school books we really appreciate!         

 I really love the book and am so happy about it, i'm very excited to get another book! Also a massive thank you to my school to allow us to have them!!

A few days ago my class had to find a buddy girls had to find a boy buddy boys had to find a girl buddy me and Quinn went together!

we made a funny story about santa here's the story!

Basically this is the story!

1st one: There's a daycare in town that just got built santa went to go explore it!

 2nd one: Santa went inside and found a rocket blaster,

3rd one: santa used it and blasted out the window

4th one: reindeer's and elf's at santas workshop run away because of a fire then they found a t-Rex and one reindeer got eaten whole but was still alive,

5th one: she had a sword and cut the t-Rex's stomach open then survived the t-Rex died the end BOOM!!

The other day we were learning to describe a setting I did this about the RuIn!

I really enjoyed this so much!

I created this is was very fun  and I liked it!

Whats your favourite thing to describe about?

It was a city that wasn't used much until one day a green tangle  tree started to grow.

And tangled around businesses and homes,

There were green vines that could never stop growing,

and the bridge was breaking to bits as the vines were splitting the bridge apart and no one will ever go back to

that abandoned city ever again.

I was just chilling down until I noticed that a bright light came down looking right against me.

I also heard his name was Gabriel he said I was having a baby!

I was shocked but then found out his name was going to be Jesus.

I  was scared  and nervous but  my baby is now my saviour. 

I'm very proud in him!

My caregiver decided to take me to his class for the day and I got overwhelmed by

all the noise that made me feel off,

it was also very calm sometimes relaxing on my cosy blanket with my other mate.

I was getting really hungry my caregiver did not bring much food for me to munch on!

It was interesting to meet new faces though, and I loved the walks

Recount about the holidays

Last week we started a  recount on google docs about one event we did in the holidays,

I went to the Antarctic centre it was so fun!!

I'm going to share this recount about it.

We loved going, as my family  logged us in and we went into the main area as we explored more,

It was my first time I've been twice in the Holidays.

We walked down the aisle to see a storm room! At 1st while we were waiting for the storm we walked into the icy cold room with these weird shoe protectors or something on our feet.

Suddenly, we walked back from they way we came and went down a little more and saw a lot of people we followed them and it led to penguins! They were so cute! 

Also we sadly didn't see them swim… but its OK!

Then we found a 4-D movie theatre!!

We decided to check it out and WOW lets just say,

There was so many words to describe it, it was amazing.

You got splashed with water, your chairs move its crazy!!

I'm excited to go back. 

They even allowed you to go on these rides and you went over wood, tires, and even hills including this massive one! When you get to the bottom of the high hill you go through a rocky swamp!

And that's my story about the Antarctic centre!!

Rubbish pickup

 W.A.L.T: Look after the environment.

Today the seniors went to pick up rubbish around our community! Then for a reward we went to Thomson  Park! I really enjoyed it because I think we deserved it! We tried our best and we were having a competition against the year sixes! We really had to step up our game level and i'm not sure who got more!

I felt very nice when I knew I was done! w#We also worked very hard so i'm also proud!!

Thomson Park is a very fun and popular park in Christchurch but its still very exciting to go there with my school!

Today me and Kate made a Ty-dye piece of paper and scrunched it up, and then for the other bit of paper it was just a plain piece of paper just with cuts!

Argument about having a class pet.

 W.A.L.T: Create an argument about having a class pet.

This week and last week too I think we have been writing an argument about something I chose a class PET for particular reason's and this is my argument

 What would you had chosen? 

This is my argument!~ 

I think you maybe will agree.

I think we should have class pet because it will be interesting and really cool If I had chosen the pet I would choose an cat or dog.

Also we are responsible enough to have one and we must be quiet sometimes because we might hurt its ears, so we might have to work on being silent or just yellow light, that would help our learning and the pet.

I think we should let it out maybe at lunch and morning tea for some fresh air and space, and some space in class too, it would be awesome to have a class pet.   

We would respect its space when needed, and clean up its number 1 and 2, and it would be so cool to  have one tho :)    

people might be allergic too, and might not enjoy that type of animal.

Some people might think cats are better or other pets but a dog will be good. 

Also more playful and less to scratch but could bite.

Would You Rather Eat Cold Or Hot?

A few days ago everyone in my class had to chose between cold food or hot I chose hot food for some reasons these are my reasons!

would rather eat hot food because, Hot food can give more energy to cold food and also it has more taste.

Yesterday when I go to school I saw this table that had biscuits, cookies and Jesus on it, then my friend told me it was ¨chip day¨

(but there was cookies too) but I call it Food day basically this was a bible story. everyone got a card I got wealthy. (the highest amount) and everyone else would rather get ¨o¨ or ¨s¨ S was the lowest and o was the middle most people got s. so the aim of this was to get $50 to go to the party and we got $50 so we went and celebrated with some FOOD! Whats your favourite food of this plate?

I would rather be a eagle then a lion. Only because they can fly and ive always wondered what it is like to have wings if I could also chose my breed of eagle I would chose a golden eagle, they just look very cool and interesting. For some reason they look more bronze, and lions have like one  place to live compared to eagles, sometimes they just find places to live. How to make a star,

Ingredients: Paper, scissors, pen and that's all!

1. Get your piece of paper.

2. Fold it into a medium square.

3. Coloring is optional.

4. And now cut  three triangles all around the sides each.

And that's how you make a star!!!

Pentecost

I watched a video today about Pentecost.We had to try think about the main part and I think the main part is the flames on there heads and them speaking different langues but that's what I think!!!!

The Holy Spirit Comes.

This story is about when Jesus rose from the death and no one really believed that he was the son of God when he actually was, when Jesus died he rose to the death  everyone was looking at him with a confused face later that day they all prayed to Jesus in different langues they have never said before the next day peter ran to everyone and told them that Jesus was the son of God and he rose to heaven to see God. 

My Day Of Fitness:)

Today We had to make a video about fitness and me and my brother did it together because you need two people to be in the video This is how you do it: you need two buckets or pots and two pears of socks you will have to be at least 1 meter away when you start and before you even start throwing you do three star jumps and work your way up more further away from the the buckets/pots and that's how you do this fitness:)))

My Birthday!!!

Yesterday was my birthday the 6th of April,To me its really sorta in the middle to have a birthday in quarantine Because you cant really do anything throughout that time anyways i got 160 dollars for my birthday And for presents I got a sewing kit,a lot of clothes, a fur-real toy and two dream catchers that take forever!we played some party games at night time and morning time and I got to even pick dinner and all the food we were going to have at home My mum promised me that after lock-down she will take me and my friends out somewhere But I don't actually know where yet  But that's my birthday!
